Kari is a research and communications specialist with 20 years of experience in public affairs, corporate reputation, and political campaigns. She has led the research for national issue advocacy campaigns, global brand benchmark and tracking studies, and worked with multinational companies on managing risk and reputation campaigns.
Prior to joining EI, Kari was a research entrepreneur — launching and successfully managing five boutique firms in New York and California. Kari was a founding partner of Global Strategy Group, Inc., a full service political and public affairs research and consulting firm based in New York. She then went on to run several boutique consulting firms in California to put research and insights on the forefront of communications campaigns, specializing in highly regulated and complex issues.
Kari is a graduate of University of California, Santa Cruz where she majored in English and Spanish. She is near-fluent in Spanish and has executed numerous research projects in Latin America and in U.S. Hispanic communities.
